Character Classes & NPCs

Character classes are one of the best and easiest ways to expand and diversify a setting. This page will include original classes and other related information that I have created.

  1. FX Wizard OCC: [ Any | 12/05/97 ]
These are special effects masters. Some are just great at their profession, others have begun to develop strange illusory powers. But what help can they be in the battle against the Nightlords(TM)?

  2. Gabriel Defense Force: Black Operative: [ Rifts | 05/01/98 ]
Elite soldiers of the GDF. These troops are sent to complete the impossible and succeed with the help of intense training and advanced equipment.

  3. Naga Fragment Symbiote: [ Rifts | 11/30/97 ]
This is a fragment of a Planetary Naga that has entered a symbiotic relationship with a host. The symbiosis grants the host several "powers", including enhanced healing and linguistic affinity among others.

  4. Nano-Tech Enhancement: [ Rifts | 05/01/98 ]
This enhancement, similar in effect to Juicer or MOM treatments, instills increased attributes and toughness on the recipient. Unlike the other treatments, though, this has few negative side effects though it is less powerful.

  5. SOG Drop Commando OCC: [ Rifts/Phase World | 05/01/98 ]
Cybernetically enhanced soldiers from an alternate dimension designed to stop an alien menace. These soldiers are masters of covert and guerilla warfare.

NPCs are a great way to add variety and interest to a game. They can be part of the players' group or a powerful antagonist. Whoever they are, a well thought-out NPC will almost always add to the role-playing experience.
  1. Captain Christian Edwards: [ Rifts | 11/30/97 ]
Edwards is a member of the Gabriel Defense Force's Black Operatives. He was also the person who initiated first contact with the Naga and the first human to receive a Naga Fragment Symbiote.

  2. Minion: [Rifts | 05/01/98 ]
A deadly cyborg with a mission. Minion is capable of assimilating the knowledge and instincts of his targets. He's someone you'd probably rather not tangle with.
