Minion Construct: The organic components [origins classified] have been laser woven into an armature frame of military grade titanium alloy. All internal jointing, replicated and replacement organs have been fully shielded against corrosion, remote influencing, electromagnetic flux and gravitational inconsistency, and temporal displacement trauma. The unit is indefinitely self-sufficient, and is fitted with a self-repair system capable of full automatic refit for all but the most sensitive sections of cortex circuitry.
Power Plant: The Minion Construct is powered by a non-standard fusion reactor mounted in the thorax cavity, and its operational output ceiling has not yet been determined [tests pending].
Musculature: The musculature has been fabricated from a synthetic muscle/malleable steel mix, and is secured to all anchor points by cold-laser surgery.
Exterior Armor: The exterior armor is a layered, composite shell of augmented molybdenum, averaging three (3) centimeters in thickness. Armor durability has yet to be assessed [tests pending], though it has withstood a forty (40) second focused burst from a 6kW meson cutter with only minimal surface trauma and discoloration.
Skull Armor Faceplate: This is composed of 5 mil machined duralinium with a chrome veneer [face-plate design origin classified].
Temporal-Space Displacement Device: The Minion construct has been outfitted with a level seven (7) temporal-space displacement device based on AIM time technology. This level of displacement device allows Minion to activate and program coordinates autonomously, with no need for AIM staff intervention.
Operational Notes: Preliminary tests of the construct's strength, agility, reaction times and auditory / olfactory / optical sensor array are so far inconclusive, but already show Minion to not only be significantly superior in all respects to prime human test subjects, but also similarly superior to all para-human or mutants so far studied. We can state for certain that Minion's offensive and defensive capabilities are phenomenal, and that his stamina and pain thresholds are so far incalculable.


Minion is an incredibly advanced cyborg created by Advanced Idea Mechanics (AIM) in the year 2020. AIM's world is another of the many parallel earths. This one seems to have developed technology at a slightly faster pace than Rifts Earth. It also is the home of many super-human beings. By 2015, AIM scientists had developed time/space travel technology. Through this they learned that in 2020 AIM would be destroyed by an incredibly powerful entity known as Charnel. AIM decided that the only thing they could do would be to defeat this entity before it could destroy them. To accomplish this they set Project Minion in motion. The hope was to create the most advanced, most powerful cyborg possible. However, AIM realized that even advanced technology might not be enough. Therefore they programmed the Minion construct to seek out and assimilate the knowledge and instincts of one-hundred and six individuals from throughout the galaxy and throughout time. With this information guiding the deadly cyborg, it was hoped that it could defeat Charnel.

One of its time jumps was to assimilate a target residing on Rifts Earth. Minion jumped in, assimilated the target, and attempted to jump out. However, he soon realized that the incredible magical energies present were interfering with the displacement device. Unable to leave Rifts Earth, Minion has begun wandering. He has recently learned the significance of the rifts, and has decided that this is his most likely way to be able to return to AIM headquarters or to complete his mission. During his wanderings, he has assimilated several targets that were not on his original target list. Whether this has any significance is not known.

Multi-Function Weapon System:

Minion's right forearm is a variable geometry construct made from fluid-suspension ductile molybdenum. The variable geometry is triggered by Minion's own mental commands with the system metamorphosis governed by templates encoded in Minion's control center. Currently, there are several optional configurations already encoded, ranging from a human-type hand to the Cranial Disruption Syphon. Changing between configurations means that the weapon system will be unavailable for one (1) melee action while it is transforming. Other normal actions can be performed while the transformation is taking place. New configurations can also be self-encoded by Minion. This requires a detailed study of a specimen if the new configuration would be significantly different from an existing one.

Blunt: Minion can transform the system into a deadly war hammer or other blunt weapons.

Blade:
The forearm can transform into a variety of bladed configurations. These can range from clawed hands to vicious looking swords.

Energy Weapons:
Several types of energy weapons can be created, including laser, ion, and a special plasma-fusion weapon. These weapons have variable power outputs, which means the damage can vary.

Laser: From SDC damage to 1D6x10 MD

Cranial Disruption Syphon:
This configuration is an incredible technological marvel. It is what enables Minion to assimilate a target's knowledge and instincts. When a target is almost dead, Minion will change his arm to this configuration. He then "impales" the target's head with it. This causes the syphon to "download" the target's knowledge and instincts. In game play, this translates to obtaining any relevant skills or special knowledge, as well as gaining the target's combat instincts (some of the bonuses).
