Letter from a BtS Supporter...

Here is a letter that was e-mailed to from a BtS supporter. The name has been left off and the e-mail address is NOT posted because I have not gotten permission to post it. The page is really looking great. Keep up the good work of staying on Palladium about additional source material for BTS (and N&S as well). There are lots of us who don't really have the opportunity to play anymore, so we count on you guys.

Since those kooks at Palladium are jerking all of you guys around, I'll tell you a little more about Boxed Nightmares.

First, it is a sourcebook solely for BTS, despite what the Palladium Web Page says. It pre-dates Nightbane [formerly Nightspawn] by about five years. The inside cover even states that it is an adventure sourcebook for BTS, although it is compatible with HU [Heroes Unlimited] and N&S [Ninjas and Superspies].

The adventures are pure BTS. They include a monster that does the dirty work for a drug gang, the return of Jack the Ripper, a real (and really mean) Tasmanian Devil, a trip to South America to stop cultists attack on a locally prominent family, and a werewolf hunt. The crowning jewel is The Hitchhiker of Death. It is a story about serial murders, except the murders are committed by normal people possessed by an evil entity. Of course, the police will never believe that!

It includes information on running a BTS campaign and how the PC's can be employees of a tabloid (like the National Inquirer) and use it as a cover for their investigations.

It is one of the best adventure sourcebooks of any genre that I have encountered (and I've seen them all over the last 20 years.)

If you can get your hands on one, I promise you won't be disappointed.
